We are so excited o bring such amazing, talented and current Teachers and Artists to the Creative Connexions PAC this August 26th - 29th for our Competitive Boot Camp that we are calling The Dance Den! Below are short bio's of some of our guest Teachers and Artist that will be joining us that week!
Acro Alliance is comprised of a trio of passionate and dedicated acro teachers who travel the globe sharing their knowledge of the art of acro dance through workshops, in-studio experiences and spotting clinics. The founders of Acro Alliance share a mutual passion for the development of acro as a true art form; leading a movement towards full integration of classical dance forms with acrobatics. This passionate trio offers a combined 38 years of training, experience and performance from all forms of dance and gymnastics. Their unique skills are brought together in Acro Alliance to offer you an acro experience that won't be found anywhere else.
The Acro Alliance team have studied the movement of acro skills and breaks down the biomechanics of each movement in order to develop efficient methods of teaching and performing the skill with proper technique and little physical strain. These progressive and innovative ways of teaching and completing acro skills are what sets the Acro Alliance students apart from the rest. Acro Alliance students, beginner through elite, are proficient, well-balanced artists who are able to effortlessly combine their acro skills with dance technique. Acro Alliance students develop confidence, dexterity and become oriented to self-propelled improvement. Through the Acro Alliance influence, these students are capable of skills such as advanced tumbling, captivating contortion skills and exceptional dance technique.
The Acro Alliance team devotes the time & dedication to each of its students ultimately unleashing their unique artistic ability for years to come. Their aim is to develop each student toward personal greatness, helping to bring inspiration and innovation to the acro community worldwide. Their efforts have been recognized through the achievements of their dancers who have won numerous titles, competition overalls and received choreography and performance awards.
Sarah Williamson- Ballet Sarah, originally from Sudbury Ontario, is an honours graduate from Ryerson University’s dance program.Under the direction of Nadia Potts she continued her training in ballet, modern and jazz. Prior to her University training she received professional training from The National Ballet School as well as the Quintee Ballet School. Some performance credits include; Tino Seghal’s “Kiss” at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Royal Caribbean’s Majesty of the Seas, Open Corps Theatre’s “The Soldier’s Tale” Canadian Opera Company’s “Death in Venice”, “Iphigenie en Tauris” and "Rigoletto". She also was a member of the original cast for “Angelina Ballerina”-The Musical. She has worked as an independent dance artist for Lacey Smith, Cadence Progressive Contemporary Ballet Company and Lady Luck Productions. She is also a skilled actor on the screen and on the stage. After receiving her B.Ed. from York University's two year program she is busy working for Toronto's District School Board as a teacher.
Stephanie Visconti - Tap & Theatre Jazz Stéphanie is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s Integrated Musical Theatre Conservatory Program in NYC. Some of her favourite stage credits include Mamma Mia (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina), Mame (Riverside Theatre), Family Channel’s Big Ticket Summer Concert (Budweiser Stage), Broadway’s Future Songbook Series (Lincoln Center), The Producers (Lower Ossington Theatre), and Anatomy of a Dancer (Breakaway Entertainment). Stéphanie was a member of the Canadian National Tap Dance Team and competed at the International Dance Organization World Tap Dance Championship in Germany where she celebrated many top scores including a silver medal. She has choreographed & performed tap dance pieces for Théâtre Novo at L’alliance française de Toronto, Nightingale Music Company at the Jazz Bistro, and Marquee Productions at the West End Lounge. Stéphanie has taught dance at various studios in Brooklyn NY and currently teaches at a number of studios in the GTA as well as in her own home studio.

Toronto born Taveeta is a budding triple threat known for her various Film/Tv roles and her unique and mesmerizing Pop R&B sound.
Taveeta began dancing at the age of six and has trained intensively in a variety of styles. She has competed internationally and has achieved many honours, titles, and awards in recognition of her elite skills, artistry, and passion for movement. Although majoring in Dance at Toronto’s prestigious Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, Taveeta was highly exposed to the Dramatic/Vocal Arts where in which she discovered her passion for Acting and Singing. After graduating with Honours and Outstanding Artistic Achievement, Taveeta began to pursue her dreams of becoming a triple threat.
Taveeta landed her first major series regular roles as “Thalia” on Family/Disney Channels The Next Step and the role of "Valerie" on Nickelodeons Make It Pop. Taveeta’s upcoming credits include principle roles on Sify’s 12 Monkeys, Crave TV’s Letterkenny, and a lead role in Maxwell McGuire’s upcoming movie The Sweetheart. In addition to her TV/Film accomplishments, Taveeta also made her theatre debut in the winter of 2015. Taveeta starred as the “Cheshire Cat” in Ross Petty Productions 2015-2016 production of Peter Pan, and as “Gabby the Charm” his 2016-2017 production of Sleeping Beauty.
As a young working professional in the industry, she continues to educate, train, and harness her skills while also finding time to give back to the community. Taveeta most recently released her first EP Resurrection under Gladiator Records, relaunched a dance company she began in late 2013 called Liberum Dance Project, and launched her personal merchandise brand VEETA BY TAVEETA .
Taveeta aspires to continue working in the entertainment industry, and use her role in the industry as a platform to inspire others and promote positive change.
